Hope everyone had a nice weekend. I ended up having a nice time with my visiting relatives, but now it’s back to the grind. ^w^;;

Oh I adore this page
I love their dynamic so much!
haha thanks!
I’m not quite understanding what’s going on here. Aunt Sue is being a matchmaker in a way. Jun is okay with the setup. Georgia I don’t get. Embarrassed about her attraction to Jun and resenting being paired up before she’s ready to admit it to anyone but herself? The two already had dinner at Georgia’s house. I’ve been feeling very burned out and am not thinking clearly. I read the comic yesterday and again today, was hoping answer would come to me.
Meeting and eating with family members in their homes implies a deeper, more committed relationship than just meeting and eating with each other or with each other’s friends; like, this relationship is heading in the direction of permanency. Jun saying he’s up for it suggests that he is ready to take the next step in their relationship, whereas Georgia’s faces suggests that she isn’t quite to that point yet. However, the fact that her response is to make silly faces, which he playfully makes back (love that part!) makes it look like she is teetering on the brink of being ready for it. She likes him a lot, but may need a little time to reason through what that feeling is going to mean.
Anyhoo, that’s how I read it. I thought the exchange was a lot of fun! 🙂
Thanks. That makes some sense. Reminds me of something funny, kind of unrelated. One time I was getting ready to drive over to a girl’s house, and she called and said her mom was over there. I said, “Do you want me to meet your mom?” She said that NO, she DIDN’T, and to wait 30 minutes. No girl’s mother has ever liked me, I mean never. So just as well, ha ha.
