Georgia Rainier

Georgia is the heroine of our comic. She is a struggling artist who is also suffering from depression which was brought on by a cascade of things going wrong, some of which were sudden. Although she is currently disinterested in most things, Georgia enjoys nature and spends a great deal of time lying on her front porch in her garden. If it weren’t for her best and childhood friend Rita she would probably spend all day lounging outside poking at her iPad or complaining to her cat.

Rita O’Halloran

Rita has been Georgia’s best friend and most trusted confidant since grade school. Due to their close relationship, Rita is acutely aware of her best friend’s current struggles and is trying her best to be of help. She has an unrivaled love of pastry, particularly French pastry, and more often than not frequently visits Georgia’s house bearing gifts of fresh baked pastries, some of which she has made herself.

Ean O’Halloran

Rita’s cousin and childhood friend to Georgia, Ean has come to town after his college graduation purportedly in search of work. More even tempered than his cousin Rita, Ean is kind but perhaps also a little blissfully ignorant of things. He enjoys a good time more than anything and has been known to be a little lazy.

Frida the cat

Frida is Georgia’s Siamese cat and constant companion when she is not out hunting bugs in the yard. She was named Frida for the black mark across her forehead that resembles a brow line, the likes of which reminded Georgia of Frida Kahlo. Playful and talkative, Frida likes to spend most of her time outdoors in the front garden and has been known to chase off intruders on “her domain”.
