Yep, that’s the reaction I always get from my cats when I put them in carriers too – doesn’t seem to matter whether it’s for a vet visit or a vacation. Ah, well!
How Jun reacts to this feline addition will definitely affect my opinion about whether he’s a good guy or a bad guy (no pressure!).
Our cats love carriers. They’ll sleep in them if we leave them out. Now actually going to the vet in one is a whole nother story. That involves screaming the song of their people.
My cat loves her carrier and sleeps in it all the time, but if you try to put her in it as we often take her when we visit my parents she throws a HUGE fuss clawing and spitting and biting and making crazy noises…. but… once she’s in and the screen’s down (not even zipped up) she pretty much lays down and is quiet the whole trip (2-3 hours) unless we stop at wendy’s then she’ll whine for some fries.
My mom’s cat is a Shark. He will shark around you for bacon, chicken, or tuna, in fact steal it from your plate if you look away for too long. And he’ll try and climb on you for it too. And purrs. A lot. And he has come to the conclusion that eggs are close enough to chicken to try and mooch that now too. He’s lucky he’s so cute.
Whether or not the cat tolerates the carrier, it is not feasible to take it on a motorcycle. Something else is going to have to be arranged for poor Frida. Rita will probably find out about this trip after all when she’s called upon for kitty care.
he looks very sad about that key.. and he didn’t tell what it was for. maybe it was the key to a dead relatives house he cared about very much (or maybe a spare key to a car a person he cared about crashed in probably not though morbid thoughts come to mind at times for me lol). Jun seems to understand her depression very well even getting angry for her when that girl was mean about her it. I think he went through the same thing or something close. People with the brightest smiles have also had the saddest past at times..

Oh yes, even when we travel and let them just be on a leash and harness in the backseat they are still angry. XD

That’s cute that she whines for fries…My cat snubs nearly all human food…which I suppose is good in the long run.
Our tuxedo loves pizza crust, he will step over you to get to it.

It is always a nightmare having to put my cat in a carrier. Our vet had to give us some pills to make him sleep so we could make the moving trip. XD;;
