I don’t consider myself that short (5’5″ and 1/2″, that half is important!) but I hate when I have this issue in a store. Usually whatever I want is just an smidge out of reach…so close…yet so far.
I totally understand. I’m 4’11 3/4″. Top shelves suck. Lucky for me, my other half is 6’2″. “Honey, can you get that for me?” “As you wish.” XD

I’m so glad that manga is usually set on shorter shelves. 8’V
Being able to reach is fine, but I’ve never been bothered when I have to bend over. I bend a lot anyway since I spend so much time with a foot in my mouth 😉
