I went out shopping yesterday evening with the main goal of trying to find some cheap Barbie clothes for my new Pullip. If you don’t know already, Barbie clothes will fit Pullip..well for the most part. Anyhow I found a cheap clothing set at Target for $2.34 or somewhere around there. This set only includes a top and a pair of shorts, no shoes included. I made some notes about this particular set on what issues they have so anyone else who is shopping can be aware.
First off here is the set in it’s entirety in the package if you needed a reference. As I said before, no shoes included. There were also other styles of shirts/shorts/skirts sets in these same $2.34 priced packs.
Alright, so as noted in the pic above, the shorts you get in this set are low rise, so Nina’s good girl panties show quite horrendously! However this is an easy enough problem to fix by buying or making low rise undies, going without undies, or just not wearing midriff baring tops. Really I think the shorts fit quite well, and fit the best out of this set. The top fits ok, but as you can see it’s rather baggy. The biggest issue I see with the top though is that the strap that goes around the neck is too long, and thus it makes the upper portion of the top baggy and rather exposing on the type 3 body. This could easily be fixed with a few stitches though to make the straps shorter, but before I modify anything I’d like to see how it works on the obitsu body I ordered as it appears to have a larger bust than the type 3 body. All in all though I think the outfit works not half bad. My only beef right now with Barbie clothing is it’s hard to find clothing that isn’t filled with lame’ gaudiness, or has any number of other tacky cheap sparkles. XP
Hi.
You have helped me a lot, thanks!^^
I think moxie girlz clothes fits pullip very good! It’s a bit bigger than bratz clothes, so it fits pullip great!
Cool, glad I could help. 🙂 I’ve also heard about the Moxie Girlz clothes from other people, but I haven’t had a chance to buy any of them yet. Thanks for the tip though!
