Fine Sometimes Rain Chapter 08 – P22
Nov24
Sorry, I pretty much forgot to upload the page today. I’m still not at 100% yet and I’ll probably be doing physical therapy into January at least, so I have a long road ahead of me. I wish I had made more progress by now, but the body can only do so much at a time. Hopefully I can get back to feeling like I’m on top of things again. Oh and have a nice Thanksgiving everyone! I need to thumbnail pages tomorrow, but there should still be a nice dinner at the end.
Waaah.. a geology/paleontology-reference! *squee*
I did not expect to stumble upon this here (or in any of the webcomics i follow ^^)
Thanks for that! And concerning your physiotherapy – take your time, even if it sucks.. i know how stupid it feels if you can’t even lift a bag – or use a cooking spoon for stirring! :)) I wish you all the best!
Haha, glad you enjoyed the reference. Before I went into art I was in the geology department and studied a lot of that kind of stuff, we even went on a dig south of where I live. I have some small fossils, nothing as fantastic as some of the other students found though! I also collect lake stones with fossils in them when I find them. 🙂 Oh and thanks for the well wishes. It is super frustrating to not be able to do the simple things you could once do like bending over to put a plate in the dishwasher. D: Things are slowly improving though so I am hoping for the best. 🙂
I even told my boss about your comic since we’re all geologists in our little company 🙂
I had one friend at university who always stumbled over the most gorgeous pieces when we were on an excursion ^^ i never started collecting rocks or fossils though, i always had the feeling i might become the equivalent of a crazy cat lady – just with rocks instead of cats ^^
I’m glad to hear you’re improving, keep it up 🙂
hehe that’s awesome. :3
If you happen to travel to the UK, you should visit the Jurassic coast in the south. You can come home with lots of cool fossils from there! (And some photos or memories of beautiful pepple beaches too.)
Oh wow, that sounds fantastic! It would be nice to have a chance to go overseas again. 🙂
I wasn’t expecting Georgia to know anything about geology. It’s really cool how you’re adding your own interests into the story. ^_^
