Fine Sometimes Rain Chapter 09 – P31
May24
So there is a little bit extra to go with today’s page. I created a video about my inking process of this page and it will be posted to my youtube channel probably sometime around noon. I will be sure to share the link here once the video is live, but for now I will share my link to my youtube channel so you can check out my older videos if you haven’t seen them already or if you already have you can just keep tabs on that page for when the vid is live. 😉 https://www.youtube.com/c/AmyStoddardComics Anyway I hope you will like it. Also next week I plan to post the companion video which is the tone process of today’s page. 🙂
EDIT: All right I have the direct video link now! https://youtu.be/jn6c1fJFF40
Life from a bug’s eye view…
Thanks for the links to the youtube, I alwaya enjoy seeing these thingc “in progress”. Even if it always seems disconcertingly simple and easy (when I know for myself that it’s not!).
By the way, it’s just occurred to me thats, if comments are moderated, I must have left waaaaay to many on my read through the comic.sorry about that! It’s my way when reading (or re-reading) to ignore the age of the work and just comment as I normally would, but I wouldn’t want to cause hassle with it. 🙁
Yeah I do moderate my comments mainly to keep it a safe feeling environment here since so many of my readers are suffering from depression. Also the wordpress comment system probably isn’t the best because I know that sometimes legit comments wind up in spam. I was looking into disqus but I’ve heard they recently added advertisements and I don’t want 3rd party ads on my site that I can’t control. As it stands now I am considering removing more ads from my site in general.
I understand on all counts. I, perhaps unsurprisingly, also suffer depression… and seasonally affected, and now is the season…
It’s good to keep it safe.
Regarding ads, how much would removing them cost you, though? I don’t know much about these things but I always assume they help pay for the site.
Actually I don’t make that much through them with the traffic I get. I make enough to advertise my webcomic on other sites that use Project Wonderful. What pays for the site upkeep right now is actually my Patreon! So a big thank you to all of my Patreon peeps, your support totes pays for my hosting and domain renewals. 😀
Ooh a wild cat appeared~
